Disney World Day Three: Downtown Disney

Today was our off day so we slept in and got some rest. Around 11 Kara, the kids, Matt, John and I headed to Downtown Disney to do some shopping. Dad stayed to read (because he never voluntarily goes shopping) and JJ stayed to work on homework. We were starving when we got there so first thing we went to eat at Wolfgang Puck Express. The remodeling they did made lots more room inside. Our lunch was so delicious. After lunch we went straight to the largest Disney Store on Earth. Outside they have a big Stich that randomly spits at people and Annie loved it. She would try to guess where he was going to spit and stand there and if he got her she would shake her finger at him and say "Bad boy Stich." After loading up with souvenirs we headed back so Kara, JJ, and the kids got ready and headed out to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party they had tickets for.

Joel went as Peter Pan

and Annie as Tinker Belle.

These are some of their pictures from the Halloween Party.

Back at our room our cleaner at decorated our window with a ghost and Halloween clings. Dad, Matt, John and I sat around and talked about what we wanted to do. We thought about going to see Fantasmic or visit some resorts but decided we would just rather hang out than do that. We went down to supper around 6 and Matt was devastated to learn they don't serve Taco Salad at our Food Court at night. The rest of us didn't really want anything there anyway so we decided to go back to Downtown Disney at eat at Earl of Sandwich. It was a good decision because it was so good and all of us loved it. Dad said it was the best food he had eaten all week. After we ate Matt said there were a few more souvenirs he needed so he drug us around the World of Disney store for a while. We finally left and spent the rest of the evening taking silly pictures of each other, watching the presidential debate, and just enjoying being together.
