Handprints times three!

Today they poured dad's foundation and he really wanted the kids to put their handprints in his porch.  He picked up the kids from school at lunch and met Kate and I there.  After trekking through the woods in the mud they told us it was too early for us to try and to come back in about two hours.
So two hours later we hike back and try one side of the porch but it was too dry.
We tried the side of the porch out of the sun and we got their hand prints and also made a huge mess because the cement was really wet.
When we tried Kate's hands she kept bunching them into a fist so we had to use her feet.
About an hour later they called dad and said they concrete was just too wet to hold the prints and we would have to come back to do them again.  I didn't bring my camera this time but everything went perfectly and we even got Kate to use her hands.  We had to put them on the front of the porch instead of the side so dad is hoping his cedar beams won't cover them up!
