A Labor Day Miracle

We had Anne and Joel spend the night with us last night because Kara and JJ are out of town on a mini vacation. They woke us up bright and early and we all got ready and went to tackle the huge mess the brick people are making of our yard. We worked for 3 hours and probably got a third of the brick pieces picked up. The kids and I mainly picked up trash while John piled bricks into a wheelbarrow and dumped them in dad's flatbed. The kids didn't last long and they mostly played inside and argued. At lunch we left for the afternoon and decided to come back when it got cooler because we were exhausted. When we came back later that evening all the rest of the bricks were picked up and we found this in the concrete.
